the enneagram is a personality typing system developed over centuries, and one which is becoming more popular by the day. with nine distinct types, this system categorizes each of us by identifying and explaining our core motivation, our common personas and unconscious behaviors, and the way we feel most loved in the world.
it can also help identify common traps and pitfalls for each of us which can unfold into miscommunication, conflict, and disconnection.
however, the enneagram isn’t just a tool for personal self-discovery. understanding the nine types can increase empathy and awareness of those around you, almost always leading to deeper connection and more authentic and effective communication.
